After US President Donald Trump brought the term “Fake News” into the public eye by rejecting information that is critical of him, Russia has come out in the same vein. The Russian government accused the main US media outlets, such as Bloomberg, The New York Times Pakistan Phone Number List and NBC, of spreading “Fake News”, false news about their country. The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that these media, in addition to the Santa Monica Observer, the Daily Telegraph, among others, emit “false information”, since it “does not correspond to reality.

Fake news has become a global trend, as misleading stories that are named as “real” flood the network and have the objective of influencing voters, as happened in the United States and as it can happen in France.
